Frequently Asked Questions

The Platinum course has a ‘flexible’ start. You begin the course when you are ready. The ‘tuition’ part of the course is around 50 hours of study, and you have until 6 weeks before your exam to complete tuition (so that you are ready for revision). Most students start the course around 3 months before their chosen exam date.

Absolutely yes! The course resources are flexible, so you study at a time and a pace to suit you. Most of my students work full time and have other commitments, and find the course manageable. AAA is best studied in short sessions (1 to 2 hours), the course is designed with this in mind.

You work through the videos, interactive activities, quizzes and other course resources in 1-2 hour study sessions. You study at a time and pace to suit you.

You submit homework regularly, and I give you detailed feedback to help you to improve.

If you have questions, you WhatsApp me and I’m here to help with speedy replies.

I will be gently pushing you to work through the course resources at a steady pace. However, if you do fall behind, you can defer to the following exam sitting at no charge.

The Platinum course covers ALL variants of the exam. There is an extra module for those taking the UK or Ireland variants of the exam (covering insolvency, an extra topic that is just in the UK / Ireland syllabus)

No! The course sells out each sitting at full price. There are other, cheaper courses out there….. but nothing that will give you the level of support that I will.

Key terms and conditions

1. Pass assurance

The Platinum Package will give you the very best chance of passing AAA. However, if you do, need to re-sit, you can join the course again, free of charge.

To qualify for Pass Assurance, you must:

  1. Submit all homework on time
  2. Score at least 40% on the Final Mock
  3. Score at least 40% in the real exam
  4. Notify me of your ACCA result and request re-enrolment within one week of receiving your results

If you don’t meet these terms, I will still support you for your re-sit. You will be able to access course materials to help you pass the exam (no marking or live sessions included).

2. Deferral policy

If you need to defer the course (e.g. as you need to re-sit another exam), you can do so free of charge.

You can only defer once: no subsequent deferral allowed.

The cut-off for deferring is 6 weeks before your exam date.
